V75 series drive with high-performance variable speed drive (VSD) functionality.

To control the speed of machinery in many industrial processes—such as assembly lines—it is necessary to operate at different speeds for different products. Sometimes, a system requires flow regulation for a pump or fan, and adjusting the drive speed may offer better energy savings compared to other flow control techniques. If the output speed changes continuously within a range without steps, the drive is typically referred to as a Variable Speed Drive (VSD).

What is a Drive?
A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is a type of motor controller that rotates an electric motor by varying the frequency and voltage applied to it. Other names for VFD include variable speed drive, adjustable speed drive, adjustable frequency drive, AC drive, microdrive, and inverter. Frequency (Hz) is directly related to motor speed (RPM); in other words, increasing frequency causes the motor to rotate faster and changes its RPM.
If you need an electric motor to operate below its nominal full speed, use a VFD to reduce voltage and frequency according to market demands. Thus, a VFD easily increases or decreases speed via frequency and voltage to match our needs.
Drives are generally divided into two main groups: three-phase inverters and single-phase inverters. The key difference lies in the input power type—single-phase inverters receive single-phase input and output three-phase power, while three-phase inverters receive and output three-phase power.

  • Three-phase input: 380 to 480 volts, output three-phase 380 to 480 volts, power range: 0.75 kW to 800 kW
  • High-performance sensorless vector control (SVC) for precise speed adjustment
  • Significant energy-saving performance
  • Excellent PID response for fast torque control
  • Output frequency: 0.5 to 400 Hz
  • Full motor protection against overcurrent, overload, short circuit, and overheating
  • Full drive protection against input/output phase faults, high torque, low voltage, high current, temperature rise, and output short circuit
  • Speed control range: 1:40 in V/F mode, 1:200 in SVC mode
  • Speed control accuracy: ±2% in V/F mode, ±0.2% in SVC mode
  • Programmable acceleration and deceleration time: 0 to 3200 seconds
  • Overload capacity: 150% for 60 seconds, 200% for 2 seconds
  • Ingress protection: IP41 without removing top cover, other parts IP20
  • Programmable input/output terminals
  • 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs
  • 8 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs
  • RS485 port with RTU Modbus protocol support
  • Operating temperature: −10°C to +50°C
